About the School

Taktse International School is a small co-educational school on a 4.45-hectare hillside estate at Pangthang, above Gangtok in East Sikkim. It follows the Cambridge pathway - Lower Secondary Checkpoint in Grades VI-VIII, IGCSE in Grades IX-X and AS/A Levels in Grades XI-XII - and is also affiliated to CISCE. Organised into Lower, Middle and Upper School, it enrols about 230 students with a teacher-student ratio of about 1:4 and offers both residential and day options, with an optional Dharma class in Grades 1-8.
