About the School
St. Helen's Secondary School is a Catholic girls' school in Kurseong run by the Daughters of the Cross. It opened in April 1890 with twelve boarders and moved to the Caledonia property in 1900, and it continues to take both boarders and day scholars. Affiliated to the CISCE, it teaches from Kindergarten through Class X with admissions to Class XI (Arts). The school has physics, chemistry, biology and computer labs, a senior library, transport and co-curricular programmes.
