About the School

Himali Boarding School is a co-educational school at Doomaram, Kurseong, founded in 1978 by Major and Mrs T. B. Subba with Mr and Mrs J. R. Carreck of Sussex, England. It prepares students for ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) and also offers Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Levels. It takes both boarders and day scholars; boys' (about 400 places) and girls' (about 300 places) hostels each have a warden, with separate dining halls, a modern kitchen and on-call medical care.
