About the School

Sainik School East Siang was raised on 27 August 2018 as the 28th Sainik School in India and is Arunachal Pradesh's first. It is a residential, co-educational school for boy and girl cadets, admitting at Classes VI and IX through AISSEE, and prepares students for the NDA, Naval Academy and other officer academies. The roughly 100-acre campus lies near the Sille River at Niglok, about 6 km from Ruksin, with Pasighat airport about 35 km away. It follows the CBSE curriculum.
