PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Pasighat is a central government school in the 2 Mile area on NH-52, on the edge of Pasighat town in East Siang district, run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It was started in August 1984 in rented premises in the town and moved to its own purpose-built campus, which was inaugurated on 2 May 1997. The school is affiliated to CBSE (affiliation no. 2200005) and belongs to the KVS Silchar region. As a Kendriya Vidyalaya it follows the common KVS curriculum and mainly serves children of transferable central government employees, and it is part of the PM SHRI scheme.
