About the School

Calcutta Boys' School is a Methodist-founded boys' school. Bishop J.M. Thoburn started it in March 1877 with six pupils, and it now has its main campus on S.N. Banerjee Road in central Kolkata. It has since added campuses at Beliaghata, Sonarpur and Asansol. The school admits pupils from Playgroup and Nursery and offers Class 11. The main campus has a library, a computer lab, physics, chemistry and biology labs, a chapel and a playground, and pupils are organised into four houses.
