Education in Kochi — Kerala's Commercial Capital
Kochi, Kerala's financial and commercial capital, is home to a strong school ecosystem. Kerala has India's highest literacy rate (96%+) and the state's education culture is deeply ingrained — private CBSE schools, government Kerala Board schools, and Catholic mission schools all thrive here. The city's cosmopolitan character, large NRI community, and expanding IT sector (Infopark, Kakkanad) have boosted demand for quality CBSE and international schools.
