How Registration Works
- Registration is through schools, not individually, for most SOF exams.
- Your school chooses one date per Olympiad; papers differ by date.
- Schools must register students at least 30 days before the chosen date.
- Fees are small and collected by the school.
Other Popular Olympiads
Other organisers include CREST and various national olympiads in science and maths, plus higher-level olympiads such as the HBCSE-run national olympiads for senior students. Check each organiser’s website for eligibility and dates.

Preparation Plan
- Revise your class syllabus first; Olympiad questions build on it.
- Solve sample papers from the organiser.
- Practise the logical reasoning section daily.
- Take one timed mock paper a week before the exam.
- Review mistakes rather than repeating easy questions.
