Yadavindra Public School, Patiala was founded by Maharaja Yadavindra Singh and began classes on 2 February 1948 with 21 students. It became co-educational in 1954 and has been affiliated to CISCE since 1958, preparing students for ICSE and ISC. A boarding-cum-day school with Foundation, Junior and Senior wings, it houses boarders in named houses. The campus has interactive-board classrooms, science and robotics/AI labs, libraries, an auditorium, squash courts, an underground shooting range and a floodlit stadium.
