About the School
The School KFI is run by the Krishnamurti Foundation India. It began in 1973, was long based at Damodar Gardens in Adyar, and moved to a new campus at Thazhambur off Old Mahabalipuram Road in June 2018. It prepares students from LKG to Class XII for the ICSE and ISC exams. The school works a five-day week, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, has no uniform, and students and staff share breakfast and lunch in the dining hall. The campus has a library, an assembly hall, rainwater harvesting and solar equipment.
