About the School

Stewart School, Cuttack was founded in 1882 by Dr. William Day Stewart, a civil surgeon in Cuttack, and is now run by a managing committee under the Diocese of Cuttack as an unaided Christian minority institution. It has been affiliated to CISCE since 1974 and teaches from Nursery to Class X, with +2 Science, Commerce and Humanities. Its double-storeyed buildings hold laboratories, a computer lab, a centenary hall and a library-cum-reading room, set among lawns and large playgrounds. It also runs NCC and Scouts & Guides.
