About the School

Star Public School was founded on 17 April 2005 by industrialist Sajjan Bhajanka. It sits on the Star Cement campus at Lumshnong in East Jaintia Hills, about half a kilometre from the Shillong-Silchar highway. The CBSE school is organised into foundational, preparatory, middle and secondary wings. Facilities include smart classrooms, a library of over 5,000 books, a computer lab, physics, chemistry, biology and maths labs, a pre-primary activity room, a multipurpose auditorium and a playground, plus indoor and outdoor sports and yoga.
