St. Mary's Convent College, Nainital

St. Mary's Convent, known locally as Ramnee, was founded in May 1878 by Mother Salesia Reiner of the Congregation of Jesus, moving to Ramnee Park in 1879. It is a girls' school, with co-education only in the youngest classes (LKG to Class 1), preparing students for the ICSE and ISC examinations. It takes day scholars and boarders, with boarders admitted from Class 3 to 9. The 26-acre hillside campus has physics, chemistry, biology and computer labs, a library, an auditorium, a church, dormitories, a mess and an infirmary.
