About the School

Sainik School Rewari is a Sainik Schools Society school under the Ministry of Defence, inaugurated on 29 August 2008 by then Defence Minister A.K. Antony. Initially run from temporary premises in Rewari town, it now operates from its permanent campus of about 19.9 hectares at Village Gothra on the Rewari-Narnaul road. The fully residential CBSE school (affiliation 580010) prepares boys and girls, mainly from Haryana and Delhi, for the NDA and other services, with 31 teachers on staff.
