About the School

Rashtriya Military School Bengaluru began in 1946 as King George Royal Indian Military College and took its present name in 2007. Run under the Ministry of Defence's Rashtriya Military Schools system, it follows CBSE (since 1967) and admits cadets through a common entrance test into Class VI and IX. It is purely residential with no day scholars. The Hosur Road campus has cadet dormitories, a cadets' mess, subject labs, an auditorium, a swimming pool and around twenty playgrounds, with a four-house system.
