Raja Rammohan Roy Academy started in 1950 as Shishu Niketan, a preparatory boarding school in Mussoorie, and took its current name in 1978. The co-educational ICSE/ISC school now runs on an 11-acre campus in Clement Town, Dehradun, near the ISBT junction on the Delhi road. It teaches from pre-primary to Class XII, with Science, Commerce and Humanities at the +2 level. Facilities include science and computer labs, a library, an amphitheatre, a music room and large playing fields.
