About the School

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Guntur (Shift-1) is a central government school run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It opened on 15 August 1980 in the Hindu College campus and moved to its permanent building at Nallapadu, on the Guntur-Narasaraopet road, in December 1991. The CBSE-affiliated school runs two sections in each class from 1 to 10 and one section each in Classes 11 and 12, plus Bal Vatika. Its campus of roughly 29,000 square metres holds physics, chemistry and biology labs, ICT classrooms, an Atal Tinkering Lab, a library and play fields. Skill education and counselling are part of the programme.
