About the School
Padmashree Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Sainik School is a residential boys' school on the Pravara Rural Education Society campus at Loni in Rahata taluka, Ahmednagar district. Opened on Vijayadashami in October 1997, it teaches Classes VI to XII on the Maharashtra State Board pattern and is an approved new Sainik School. Cadets live in 16 dormitories grouped into four houses and are prepared for NDA and TES entry. Facilities include an integrated sports complex, a 400-seat cadet mess, a library and an infirmary.
