Labour India Gurukulam Public School was founded on 4 June 1993 by V. J. George Kulangara at Marangattupilly, near Pala in Kottayam district. It is a co-educational CBSE school covering kindergarten to Class 12, with separate boys' and girls' hostels, a sports hostel and a day-school fee track. The campus has a library, smart classes, science, biotechnology, computer and language labs, two athletics tracks, football and cricket grounds, and volleyball and basketball courts. It also runs a Kalamandalam arts academy and IIT-JEE/NEET coaching.
