About the School

Kotagiri Public School is a co-educational CBSE school in the Nilgiris, founded in 1971 as the first institution of the B.A.M.E Trust. Its 15-acre campus lies about 2 km from Kotagiri town on the Kotagiri-Coonoor road. The school is mainly residential, with separate dormitories for young children, girls and boys under wardens, alongside a day-boarding wing, and teaches from primary up to Class XII. Facilities include maths, physics, chemistry, biology and computer labs, smart classes, a library of around 20,000 volumes, an infirmary with a nurse and visiting doctor, a mess, and a 26 kW solar power plant.
