About the School

Kendriya Vidyalaya (OIL) Duliajan was set up in 1977 under the sponsorship of Oil India Limited, mainly for the children of OIL employees, and moved to its permanent 14-acre campus in the south-east of Duliajan in 1982. Affiliated to CBSE (no. 200012), it runs Classes 1 to 10 with four sections each, and offers Science, Commerce and Humanities in Classes 11 and 12. The school has physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics labs, a computer lab with internet, an Atal Tinkering Lab and a library of more than 11,000 books. Coaching is given in cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, athletics and yoga, along with NCC and scouting.
