About the School

Hutchings High School & Junior College began in 1879 as the Methodist High School with 49 children in a rented house, was renamed Taylor High School in 1890 and took its present name in 1946. It is a unit of the Mumbai Regional Conference of the Methodist Church in India and runs from pre-nursery to Class 12 under ICSE and ISC. The school on Phayre Road follows a four-house system and opened a branch at Talegaon in 2009.
