About the School

Faculty Higher Secondary School opened on 2 January 1982 in rented premises at Ambari, Guwahati, and later moved to its own campus near IIT Guwahati in North Guwahati. It has been CBSE-affiliated since 1989 and teaches LKG to Class XII, with Arts, Science and Commerce in the senior secondary section. The campus covers about 71,000 sq m and has 75 classrooms and 11 labs, including computer labs. It is mainly a day school with limited hostel places.
