Delhi Public School Bhilai opened on 20 August 1985 as a satellite school of the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi, on 16 acres provided by Bhilai Steel Plant (SAIL) in Risali Sector. The co-educational CBSE school runs from Nursery to Class XII across a Primary Wing (N-V) and Senior Wing (VI-XII). Facilities include a sports complex with indoor swimming pool and gymnasium, auditorium, maths and computer labs, library, infirmary, canteen, transport, and separate hostels for boys and girls.
