Carman Residential & Day School is on Nehru Road in Dalanwala, Dehradun. It began in 1961 as The Valley School under A.G. Carbery, and its name joins the Carbery and Mann family names. The ICSE school takes pupils from Nursery upward, with Science, Commerce and Humanities in Class XI, and admits both residential and day students. The campus has two school wings with playgrounds, biology and chemistry labs, a computer lab, smart classes, a library and eight bus routes. Its sister campus at Prem Nagar opened later.
