What Is KVS Admission?
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) admission is the annual process through which students gain entry into Kendriya Vidyalayas — the Central Government-run school network with over 1,200 schools across India. Kendriya Vidyalayas are known for high academic standards, CBSE curriculum, affordable fees, and presence in almost every district of India.
For 2026-27, KVS will release the online admission form on its official portal kvsangathan.nic.in. All applications must be submitted online — no offline forms are accepted.

KVS Age Criteria 2026-27 — Class-wise
Age is calculated as of 31st March 2026 for the 2026-27 session.

KVS Admission Priority Categories
KVS fills Class 1 seats based on a strict priority order:
- Priority 1: Children of Central Government employees (transferable service), KVS employees
- Priority 2: Children of Central Government employees (non-transferable / ex-employees / defence / paramilitary)
- Priority 3: Children of State Government employees
- Priority 4: Children of Central autonomous bodies / PSU employees
- Priority 5: Children of State autonomous bodies / PSU employees
- Priority 6: Children of retired Central/State Government employees
- Priority 7: General public (remaining seats by lottery)
Within each priority, seats are filled by lottery if applications exceed vacancies. The overall seat distribution follows: 25% EWS/DG quota, with remaining seats open.

- Fill in child's details: name, date of birth, category, priority
